FYI
I didn't think it would happen here, ( but a wiser person thought it might, so I say "Sorry, you were right") but it didn't take long for someone to use this forum for personal attacks on others or to spread rumors. We now reserve the right to delete slanderous comments, and those that are not fact based. 99 percent of comments were in keeping with what we were trying to convey. But based on 1 percent, this had to be addressed. This has been going on for a few weeks, and we thought the person would be getting the message. It doesn't even matter who is doing it, but it must be part of a thrill of anonymity. Otherwise, people usually back up what they are saying. It has become our choice also, not to allow anonymous posting, even though the majority were not ill mannered. Hockey fans are awesome, and loud, and obnoxious---which is great! But hockey fans are not cowards who hide behind anonymity. Anyone and Everyone is still encouraged to comment and contribute pictures or share ideas on what they would like to see. This isn't a dictatorship, it's a group who want to share the fun and experience of the OUTLAWS. Have an Ice Day!
update: by enabling comment moderation, we can also accept anonymous posts again. the one's that are slanderous just won't be added. so anyone may still comment anonymously or using any name without having to get a registered name with blogger. thanks!

We will try and put comments up as soon as we get them. Sometimes that might be a while. It's just too bad this is what we are forced to do, but thank you so much for understanding, and the idea you have for something special on the 18th sounds great! See, that's what we are talkin' a boot!(that's Canadian for about!)FUN AND BOOSTER CLUBBING! WE LOVE THE OUTLAWS, TOO!
The Outlaw Blog is overseen by a "mini" committee. We decide what should be put up, and what will appeal to the majority of the fans. We welcome any suggestions to make this the best damn sports blog EVER! We have encouraged all along for anyone to contribute photo's etc. and that remains the same. Photo's can be sent to northiowaoutlaws@yahoo.com and they will be added. It's a team effort and the more people contributing, the more diverse this site will be. Thanks!
For the record, nothing slanderous was said about an Outlaw. Or anyone associated with the Outlaws. It was comments (how do I put this diplomatically) that one might see in a high school girls bathroom? So, enough said.
What about the new player, Daryl Dee? Any info on him?
Daryl comes to North Iowa from the Helena Big Horns. His hometown is Garland TX. In 15 games with Helena he had 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Hopefully he can add some strength and stability to the defensive lineup.
